This year at CAPTIVATE, we will be experiencing joy, proclaiming joy and sharing joy.
Psalm 126:3 says "Yes, the Lord has done amazing things for us! What JOY!"
JOY is the theme for CAPTIVATE this year, and it just won’t be joy to the fullest if you’re not there! This year we want to celebrate a good God. Scripture says, “In His presence is fullness of JOY”, and we know that if JOY is in the mix, surely Christ must be in our midst. You + Jesus is going to make for one joyful celebration.
CAPTIVATE's purpose is to gather, equip and activate women to be all that God has called them to be in their homes, their workplace, the church and beyond.
Shayla McCormick will be joining us for CAPTIVATE 2019! She and her husband, TJ, love pastoring Coastal Community Church in Florida, which they planted in 2009. Shayla is passionate about helping women discover their purpose and step into all that God has created for them. She speaks regularly at Coastal and loves traveling with her husband and encouraging other leaders. She is a walking testimony of a faithful God and she lives, eats and breathes all she speaks.
Crystal Tullos will be joining us for CAPTIVATE as well this year. She and her husband Tyler, love pastoring StoryHeights Church in Newton, MA which they planted in 2011. Crystal is the founder of StoryHeights Montessori and loves investing in women at StoryHeights through their Eden Conference, and events around the US. She and Tyler are involved in real estate in their spare time (not much with their four kids!).
Pastor TJ & Shayla, Pastor Tyler & Crystal and Pastor David & Ginelle, have been great friends for several years, and have forged their friendship through years of learning how to be church planters together.
