Once upon a time - it seems like it was in a galaxy far, far away - Lifesong Church was a portable church in a movie theater. Many of you on the DreamTeam remember that time (and galaxy) with joy and warmth. Many of you can’t imagine that galaxy, as all you have known is the 65 Gilmore facility, and what it allows us to do. And yes, the EAST Campus teams are living in that galaxy right now. What everyone of you may not know, is that the movie theater days started almost 10 years ago and lasted for 6! Yeah, you read that right - 10 years ago - and portable for 6 of them.
On September 10th of this year, we turn 10 as a church; and on September 18th we are going to celebrate!
September 18th, we are going to celebrate with as many people as possible, and that celebration will focus on two big things. Firstly, like your life, there are 1000’s of people who have found life in Christ, been baptized, found a spouse, found a purpose, discovered worship, learned to pray, discovered the scriptures, found value in community, restored a marriage, helped a neighborhood… need I go on? That needs to be remembered. Secondly, the first 10 years of building this house can’t be the best 10 years no matter how incredible they’ve been; rather they are the basis for the next 10 years of adding to the house! So we’re going to unify, magnify and unleash a Heart for the House that day.
Join us at one of our three services on Sunday, September 18th, as we celebrate what God has built through Lifesong these last 10 years. We will spend some time reflecting on what God has done through Lifesong and look forward to what He is preparing Lifesong for in the years to come.
Adults and children MUST pre-register online for this event. Registrations packets can be picked up at the office during the week leading up to the 18th (Mon-Thurs, 9am-5pm).
Tickets for the two services are first-come/first serve. Once a service is full, we will not be adding seats to that particular service. So, don't procrastinate on getting your seats for this one-time event!
